Job Role:  Carer

JOB TYPE: FULLTIME

SALARY Offer: £10.75 per Hour (£20,962.50 per annum for 37.5 hours a week)

Location: West Sussex and London Area

Working Hours: Monday to Sunday on a shift pattern rota basis.

We are currently looking to recruit experienced Care Workers to assist in the smooth running of registered care services in West Sussex and London areas.

About You.

You must have a good experience in Health & Social Care. You must have the ability to Work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload, good listening and communication skills. Display the ability to understand and follow policies and procedures as well as good writing skills.

Ability to be able to work with different people including, adults with learning disabilities, mental health Conditions, physical disabilities and Older People.

Willingness to work flexibly to meet individual needs including weekends, evenings and nights.

Duties and Responsibilities of this role include:

  • To provide Personal Care
  • Support clients to move from place to place.
  • To Support People with social and physical activities such as eating and drinking.
  • Booking and accompanying people for appointments, bill payment
  • Social duties such as cleaning and cooking.
  • Report any concerns to the Manager.
  • To take part in the shift rota system covering the service, working at site(s) as directed and agreed with the Manager.

Job Role:  Senior Carer

JOB TYPE: FULLTIME

SALARY Offer: £10.10 per Hour (£20482.80 per annum for 39 hours a week/ £21008.00 per annum for 40 hours a week)

Location: West Sussex and London Area

Working Hours: Monday to Sunday on a shift pattern rota basis.

We are currently looking to recruit experienced Senior Care Workers to assist in the smooth running of registered care services in West Sussex and London areas.

About You.

You must have a good experience in Health & Social Care and  willing to work towards NVQ Level 3.

You will need to be aware and updated with the current legislations and understand the principles of valuing people. Other essential skills include being able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and work with complex clients, attend reviews with clients, show leadership skills, have effective communication, and be able to work with key professional.

 Willingness to work flexibly to meet individual needs including weekends, evenings and nights.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of this role include:

  • To lead the team in delivering a person-centred service through Active Support with a commitment to Life Long Learning and independence for all.
  • To provide support for the people we support in their own homes in accordance with the Health & Social Care Act 2012, REACH standards and safeguarding procedures.
  • To provide support to clients with complex care and support Field Supervisor with spot check if required.
  • Attend reviews with clients and provide adequate information to key professionals.
  • To take part in the shift rota system covering the service, working at site(s) as directed and agreed with the Manager.
  • To provide supervision and support to Care Workers in services and to report concerns to the Manager.
  • Support individuals with money management, in accordance with their support plan. Where required, and in accordance with support plans and individual preferences, provide personal care to the people we support maintaining privacy and dignity at all times. Also, where required, and in accordance with support plans, provide dietary and nutritional support.
  • Performing cleaning duties such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen and all areas to ensure that the home maintains safe, clean environment for those living and working in it, complying with health and safety requirements.
  • To work closely and effectively with other professionals both within and outside, such as Doctors, Social Workers, etc., and to establish and maintain good relationships with the people we support, Relatives and friends in line with their wishes and respecting their rights to confidentiality.
  • To create and maintain positive relationships with service users using a Person-Centred Approach and Person-Centred Planning.
  • The responsibilities and duties will be varied, and the details will vary according to the needs of the people we support and the environment. The Senior Care worker will act as the lead example in the service supporting Care Workers as required, and providing support and information to the Manager.
